1) Login To your Yahoo Mail account.

2) Goto contacts option.
3) Now their select tools and then you will see there is an option of import on yahoo toolbar.

4) Now goto your facebook account login and hit Facebook here on yahoo, Now they will ask you on facebook to import contacts, allow them.
5) After Five minutes they will import all the contacts and emails of your facebook friends they could be 10-1000, depends on your friends list.

6) Now Yahoo has successfully imports your contacts, Goto Your Yahoo Contacts list

there you will see all friends email with details.

The Biggest Facebook Phishing attack in France.

Recently it has been discovered that a Facebook Phishing site hit the French Facebook users and it is reported that more then 5000 accounts were hacked using it. So decided to take a look at it. and following is a screenshot of it:

It appears that the phishing site was certainly the one in most use. Now the news has reached far and wide so all the users who might have opened it should change their password, especailly ones from France.

The way s the easiest and most commonly use way of hacking a Facbook account.

Step1: Goto HERE

Many of the users are confused between deleting and deactivating an account.So they dont find any option and go for deactivating an account.But deactivating and deleting a facebook account is not the same.Deactivating means staying away from your account and all your photos,updates,activities will be there as usual and you can reactivate it whenever you want to.Deleting a facebook account means earasing everything that is already existing in you facebook account like phtos,videos,updates etc.

10-ways-to-detect-a-fake-facebook-account

1. Look for photos in the profile.If there is only one photo of the individual in the whole profile it makes it quite clear that the account is fake.

2. Look for status updates,wall posts and comments.If the user hasn’t updated a status for quite a long time and hasn’t been involved in any wall posting or commenting of other statuses,it means that the profile is likely to be fake.

3. Look at the recent activities.If it is that the user has just been adding randomers and making new friends,and that there are no pages liked or groups joined,it suggests that the user is determined in jst adding people and hence the profile is fake.

4. Check out the friend list.If found that maximum of the friends are of the opposite gender,it can be assumed that the profile is used either for fun or for random dating.

5. Check the info.If found that there is no ideal links given regarding school or education institutions or workplace and that the user is looking for dating and interested in both men and women,it shows signs of fakeness.

6. Check the birthdate.Birth dates like 1/1/XX…..or……31/12/XX are common between fake accounts as it is quite unique and easy to type in.

7. Fake profiles of girls usually have a contact no. in their info. Lets face it,girls harldy will have their contact no. in public.So watch out if the user exposes info that is unlikely for general users to unveil in public.

8. Look out for recent wall posts,if u see loads of people asking…’THANKS FOR THE ADD….DO I KNOW YOU’……and yet the psots remains unanswered…it is bound to be a fake one.

9. Look for common tarits used in facebook,like.using applications such as farmville,pet society etc….and adding siblings.If these traits are not found among the user, the profile is highly inactive or fake.This point can’t single handedly prove the fakeness,however this will be a supporting clue along with other points.

10. If you are quite certain about the profile’s fakeness,and want to be absolutely sure, try browsing google for some random profile pictues. Fake profile pictures are usually selected frm google and while browsing through it,you might as well come upon the picture the user chose for the fake account.

So this was a minor summary of points to note while detecting a fake account on facebook.Thus beware of suck fake accounts which may lead to privacy dilemmas or likewise.Hope you people like the article and it benefits you in case you try to detect any suck profile…..!

Merging Duplicate Facebook Pages

If your company has multiple Facebook Pages or Places, you can easily merge these pages to combine ‘likes’ and check-ins. Whether you accidentally created duplicate pages when first starting your business page, or have a separate Facebook Page and Place, you can combine these all into one page on Facebook. I recently went through Facebook’s new process for merging pages and will walk you through these 5 easy steps to merging duplicate pages.

Note: Both pages or places must have a similar name before beginning.

Step 1: Whether you are merging a Facebook Page or Place, you must have admin access to both. If you are combining a Page and Place and do not have access to the Place page for check-ins, you will need to claim your Place Page first.

Step 2: Navigate to the Facebook Page or Place with the most ‘likes’. This is the page you will KEEP and will add the fans and check-ins from the other page to the page you will keep. The page with fewer likes will be merged into the one with more likes. *The page or place with the least ‘likes’ will always be removed and merged into the larger page, this cannot be combined any other way and cannot be undone.

Step 3: Click in the top right corner ‘Edit Page’. Then from the left hand navigation under ‘Resources’ click ‘Merge duplicate page’. *The ‘Merge duplicate page’ link will only show if you are the admin of 2 Pages with the same or similar name.

Step 4: A window will pop up with a list of pages to be merged that you admin. Click on the page(s) you wish to merge and click ‘Merge Pages’. *If you’re merging a Place and a Page make sure they have the same address.

Step 5: Another window will pop up confirming that you want to merge this page. It will also state that all wall posts, photos, videos, etc, will be permanently deleted. Now don’t worry, if you have gone through this process correctly you are good to go! The content from the page you are merging will be deleted, and the page you are keeping that you began this process through will remain. All fans and check-ins from the merged page will be added to your main page.

Step 6: Navigate to your main Facebook Page. The fan count should have increased and if there are any check-ins these will be added to your page.

TRICK FOR HOW TO HIDE YOUR PROFILE ON FACEBOOK

How To Hide Your Last Name On Facebook? OR How To Make Single Name Account On Facebook

Facebook unfortunately requires all users to include a first and last name for their profile. There is no requirement however on using your real names. But now facebook users can hide their middle name and last name/surname. Hiding last name, you can effectively hide your identity on Facebook. This only takes a few minutes to set up within your Facebook account settings.

In this article I am going to share trick to hide last name on Facebook.

Step 1: First goto Firefox --> Options --> Advanced --> Network --> Settings --> Connection Settings --> And choose manual proxy configuration.

Step 2: Now Tick begin :)) " Use This Proxy Servers For All Protocols ".

Put this proxy and port

HTTP Proxy: 119.235.16.41

Port: 8080

Step 3: Put 119.235.16.41 on No Proxy for Box.

Step 4: Now goto Account Settings, Delete Middle Name and Last Name. Then Save!

Step 5: Congratulation !! You Did It, Now Your Last Name Is Gone.

Important Note :- Firstly Open your facebook account settings then change proxy because sometime after changing proxy their may be some error in logging account.
